For the past two weeks, we have been working on the year book self-portraits. Some materials used to make the portraits are oil pastel, crayons, and markers, sharpies to outline, and pencil to sketch. First, we sketched out what our portrait would look like. Then, we filled in the face with a peach colored crayon. Next, we made the eyes, mouth, and nose. Following that, we drew out the hairline so it would actually look like us. Moving on, we colored the shoulder. After that, we outlined the head and shoulders in sharpie. Finally, we made a design in the open space. That’s how we made our yearbook self-portrait.
