Make Your Mark

In Library & Media, First graders read The Dot by Peter Reynolds, and discussed what it means to "Make Your Mark".

Then in Art, they analyzed a painting by Kandinsky, and learned how color can connect to our emotions.

They loaded paintbrushes up with color, and individually designed a dot to be part of a Kandinsky-inspired class painting. Stay tuned for their exploration in technology and the digital arts -- painting with iPods!
